Andrew Watson and Howdens strengthen partnership for 2020

MB Partners are delighted to announce the continued partnership between Howdens, the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier*, and racing talent Andrew Watson for his 2020 season.

With the sporting partnership having initiated in 2019, Andrew will continue working with Howdens as he embarks upon another new challenge. The Northern Irish driver has continued to draw acclaim for his performances on track and has this year made the step up to the WEC in the LMGTE Am category with Gulf Racing for the 2019/20 season.

Founded in 1995, Howdens offers more than 70 inspirational kitchens as well as joinery, hardware, flooring and appliances. Over 700 depots nationwide have thousands of products available from stock, with one in four products manufactured in the UK.

Andrew, alongside his #86 Porsche 911 RSR teammates Mark Wainwright and Ben Barker, has enjoyed a successful start to his debut FIA WEC campaign narrowly missing out on the podium at the season-opener at Silverstone before claiming his maiden podium in the LMGTE Am class in Bahrain in December. Andrew is looking forward to the new year and continuing to align his racing with memorable internal incentives for Howdens staff.

“I am delighted to have Howdens’ support moving into 2020 and I’m looking forward to working with the team again over the year. It was great having their support both at the track last year and a number of external events through the calendar year. We’ve provided members of their team across the UK with an insight into the world of elite motorsport and it’ll be great to meet more of the team through 2020.”

Howdens CEO, Andrew Livingston, reflects positively on the first year of the partnership and is enthused about extending this good work into 2020.

“Howdens are delighted to continue supporting Andrew after another successful season. Andrew’s dedication and ability only strengthens, and we are excited to see his career continue to progress as he races in the WEC.”

After the winter break, Andrew’s on track exploits recommence Stateside for the 4 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas in February.
